01The work

The KAMIDO Method is a non-invasive facial sculpting and restorative massage method designed to support natural facial balance through deep manual work.

Developed through advanced training in Japanese-inspired facial massage, including techniques rooted in Kobido, the KAMIDO Method combines deep manual sculpting, fascia work, and lymphatic techniques to restore balance, mobility, and vitality to the face.

The KAMIDO Method integrates these influences with a modern understanding of facial anatomy, the nervous system, and tissue health to improve circulation, restore mobility, and support the skin’s natural regenerative processes, including natural collagen and elastin production.

Rather than changing features, it works by releasing restriction, allowing the face to return to a more lifted, defined, and naturally rested state.

Visible effects & benefits

Many clients notice visible changes after the first session, with results becoming more pronounced over time. The KAMIDO Method supports:

  • Natural lifting and improved facial contour definition
  • Softening of fine lines caused by tension and repetitive expression
  • Reduced puffiness, especially around the eyes
  • Improved skin tone, glow, and circulation
  • Relief from jaw tension, clenching, and facial tightness
  • Relief from neck, shoulder, and facial stiffness
  • Reduced stress and deeper nervous system relaxation
  • Better sleep and overall recovery

In younger faces, the treatment is often about prevention, releasing accumulated stress before it begins to shape expression and structure. In more mature faces, the focus shifts toward restoring lift, softness, circulation, and visible vitality.

By addressing both tension and beauty, the treatment helps the face appear more sculpted, refreshed, and naturally at ease.

Who it is for

The KAMIDO Method is designed for those who value both appearance and overall wellbeing. It is particularly beneficial for those experiencing:

  • Early or visible signs of ageing
  • Jaw tension, bruxism, or facial tightness
  • Puffiness, fatigue, or stress-related facial changes
  • A tired or heavy facial expression despite feeling well
  • A desire for a natural complement or alternative to aesthetic treatments
  • Tension held in the face, neck, and shoulders
  • A long-term focus on skin quality, facial longevity, and natural glow
Contraindications

The KAMIDO Method is not recommended in cases of:

  • Active infections, fever, or inflammatory skin conditions
  • Open wounds or a compromised skin barrier
  • Active rosacea flare-ups
  • Recent invasive dental or aesthetic procedures
  • Recent injectable treatments (e.g. Botox)
  • Thread lifting procedures (recommended wait: up to 6 months)
  • Uncontrolled hypertension
  • High-risk pregnancy (medical clearance required)

Skin sensitivity or visible capillaries are not strict contraindications, but treatment intensity is always adapted individually.

If you have any underlying medical conditions, are currently undergoing treatment, or are unsure whether the KAMIDO Method is suitable for you, please inform us in advance and consult your medical practitioner where appropriate.

03Reviews

I searched for a good Kobido massage in Lisbon, but most places either didn’t reply in a reasonable time or had poor reviews. Then I found Kamila, and I’m so glad I did. What stands out most is her deep knowledge of the technique, not just the practice, but the theory behind it. Her hands are truly amazing, and the results speak for themselves. I noticed visible improvements right away. I’ll definitely be back after my holidays to continue the treatments. Fair prices, professional service, and excellent results, highly recommended.

Kamila, thank you so much for yesterday’s massage, it was so relaxing, and I really enjoyed the full experience. Even my husband noticed the difference when I came home; he said my skin was glowing and my face looked really snatched.

I’m feeling pretty good after the massage. It’s not only about pleasure for the face, it’s also relaxation for the soul. Thanks a lot for this experience.

I’m feeling great thanks to you, much more refreshed, and people have been commenting on my skin looking great. I really enjoyed my first Kobido session and will definitely be back for more.

About
Inside Studio Kamido

My journey into facial massage began through personal experience with chronic tension, stress-related headaches, bruxism, and discomfort held in the face, neck, and shoulders. Through hands-on work, I discovered that releasing these deep patterns not only restored physical ease, but also visibly transformed the face, making it feel lighter while bringing back lift, definition, and natural vitality.

This became the foundation of the KAMIDO Method, a facial sculpting approach inspired by traditional Japanese manual techniques, fascia work, and a modern understanding of the nervous system and lymphatic flow.

My work combines beauty and stress release equally, recognising facial tension as one of the most overlooked factors in both ageing and facial expression.

Philosophy

The KAMIDO Method is rooted in the philosophy of Ka Mi Do, inspired by the Japanese concept of “The Way of the Divine.” At its core lies a simple belief: true beauty emerges when vitality flows freely.

Each KAMIDO Method session is both a sculpting ritual and a restorative experience, bringing the face back into balance while revealing greater definition, softness, and luminosity.

Rather than forcing change, the KAMIDO Method works with the body, restoring movement, circulation, and natural harmony to the face, jaw, neck, and mind.

The result is a face that appears refreshed, refined, and naturally vibrant, reflecting beauty that is cultivated, not imposed.

Beauty begins where tension ends.
